Ok I can see it getting done if Capella is movedHouston moves Anderson (obvious) and Clint Capela which hurts their defense but is a necessity. Rockets LOVE Nene by the way and recognize his value at 20-25 mins a night. But their goal is to have 4 stretch players with Harden and CP3 that can attack paint. Melo isn't a pure shooter but at least stresses defenses with ability to put ball on floor. Houston sounds like they're ready to roll out a roster with a (arguably) plus defender in Paul, average defender in Harden, Plus defender in Arizona, average defender in Melo, and solid defender in Nene. Houston was shocked at the way the current game passed Ryan Anderson by. They want him gone.
But there are teams (can't name them) under the smarter tax ready to take on bad, long term deals, for draft picks and guys on 1 year deals that expire next year.
Unfortunately for CLE, in this deal, Iman could serve as a salary match, but our young assets blow. Houston can compensate the Knucks much easier.... we are kinda fucked on the Melo deal unless we are willing to offer Love.....which ain't happening.
But that's a really really fucking stupid move by the Rockets that makes them less likely to beat the warriors. So if the Rockets insist on being stupid I'm not gonna lose sleep over it
