Sure, but by that logic, a team shouldn't carry any more than 3 quality receivers. After all, aside from playing special teams, what's the point? Right?Yeah, but Coleman was a rookie then, and we didn't have Josh Gordon (who literally does everything Pryor is capable of a billion times better) and Jarvis Landry to soak up targets either.
Gordon's past makes him someone you can't count on. In Pryor's mind, he might think he's better than Coleman and would win the #3 job. I'm not saying he is.
I'm also not saying we really missed out or anything. I'm just saying that if he wanted to be here, I'm shocked that's the money he ended up getting. Thus, clearly, our front office must not have wanted him.
