It hasn't limited Kyrie to being a 6th man...
He is DEVELOPING, and he's obviously focusing on his own scoring first. I see no problem with it. None at all. He can't learn everything at once. That's not how LEARNING works. By developing a good base for his own scoring, it'll help open up other parts of the game for him, and it will help the game to slow down for him. Both of which should eventually help him setup other players more effectively.
Will he ever be a passing PG? I don't know. It's way to early to tell.
if he is developing then he should be in the D League or whatever it is called now, thats how learning works
he can learn to pass the ball to others and that will open things up for him to also score, then when he has figured that out he can return to the nba
the only thing he is learning right now is that its acceptable to have 157 shot attempts to 26 assists in his last 10 games and be -155
