Safety Safari - Eric Murray of K.C.

Still a lot of good SS out there, plus the draft has a few that are really good too.

Cyprien, Addae, and even Clinton-Dix make a lot of sense to replace Peppers.

I move to change the title to, "strong safety safari". We must keep the juju alive.

Still a little worried about our cap situation with a potential Thomas signing.

While Dorsey is great at acquiring talent in crafty ways, my buddy (KC diehard) laments that he isn't as well-versed in working out contract flexibility for the future. We have a lot of young studs that will be asking for some big $$ the next few years.
Depodesta is here for a reason

Buddy of mine is a Packers fan and can’t stand Clinton-Dix. Apparently he is not a good teammate, and he is a knucklehead.

I'm not a huge fan of his either, but he's still pretty talented.

There are players w checkered pasts, and then there are the guys who don’t buy in and can really hurt a team. I don’t want a guy here who has that kind of problem. Life is about 2nd chances, but from what I understand, he has the kind of personality that there is no cure for. If he does end up here, I will certainly root for him, but until then, I don’t want it to happen.

We have a perfectly fine SS in Kindred. Also Boddy-Calhoun was moved around last year but I think if he is going to play one of the Safety spots that SS is a more fitting position than his listed FS spot.

Is SS a poetic term now? I know Collins just got paid, but the days of putting 8 men in the box is pretty much gone. Both of your safeties have to cover. Is it a disadvantage to basically have 2 FS?
