Great point. Goddamn, not necessarily an all time big three on the court, but the GOAT big three for off-court drama!

Today is the one year anniversary of JR being JR. What is lost in all of that is Hill missing that free throw. Now, admittedly, a one point lead with 4.7 seconds to go is a lot of time for a team of great shooters to get a shot off, but nothing is certain. Man, if they could have stolen that first game. Lebron had to be physically exhausted after one of the best final performances ever (51 points on good shooting, 8 rebounds and 8 assists) and emotionally exhausted after watching his teammates blow the game. Juxtapose these two games. That Cleveland game where Lebron plays unbelievable and they lose with last night's game where Leonard plays very meh and they win. Make no mistake, Lebron is under rated if anything.

That loss still breaks my heart. Guy put on an absolute clinic and wove a masterpiece of court tapestry only to see it defaced by crooked refs, a choker and a dumbass.

I don't think many of us had any illusions about last year's team, but that series could have gotten interesting if we had pulled that game out. It was a miserable downhill trudge from there. Hell I think we would have all felt fulfilled if that was our sole victory.

But LeBron deserved a W for one of the gutsiest and stupefying performances ever.

No doubt about any of that. Given the competition, I don’t know how anyone could
argue it not being a top 3 performance ever.
 
I wonder how Lebron is feeling sitting at home and being almost totally irrelevant to the NBA, both currently and maybe looking forward as well. Must not be a good feeling for him. Maybe it will motivate him to look beyond Space Jam II and his dumb barbershop show and try for one last run.

I'm late on this reply, but yeah, I still feel terrible for LeBron that the Cavaliers didn't win that game.

Even if we would've gotten the doors blown off us in the next four games, which was definitely possible, LBJ deserved to have that one.

Well, the season is over. Its late June with July approaching. That means its Lebron James favorite time of year. Even when he isnt a free agent he will dominate the headlines.Who is going to go help poor Lebron build his newest superteam. I swear to god Lebron has been dominating early July since i can remember. Shit gets old and tired.
 
Just saw the Lakers are interested in Derrick Favors now. Like that’s fine, he’s good, but Lebron, Favors, Davis, and Kuzma are all primarily PFs, and there’s literally a tried and true method to maximizing Lebron and getting two non shooters in Davis and Favors to clog up the paint is not it. Lakers are such a poorly run franchise
