2019 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What a terrible challenge, doubly so because they wasted a timeout to discuss whether to challenge or not and then still did it.

Romeo Crennel did this once with the Browns, at least I believe it was him.

If it wasnt him it was another Browns coach that was fired shortly thereafter.

This is kind of a disaster

I got a man crush on Brees. Not just a great QB, seems like a GREAT guy. I'll take Brees over Rodgers any day of the week.

He's just a much smarter QB, and can mind fuck defenses. People don't appreciate his greatness enough.

Just looks a bit off so far though. :(
I am not sure he is the entire problem. Brees has actually played well. Saints are allowing interior pressure and it is effecting Brees’s reads.

But I totally agree. Brees is a guy you can build a team around and have that team be sustainable for decades. He is the most fun QB that I have ever watched and followed.

Saints are getting fucked just like us right now. Unreal.

I personally think Payton is kinda overrated, and a product of Brees. Not saying he's not good at all, but Brees makes him look way better than he is.

Yeah... To be fair, I think Brees is right there with Brady and above Manning. If he had a coach like Bill B then I think Brees would have come close to four or five SB appearances.

Saints defense is always notoriously bad. They've ruin a lot of great years of Brees, putting together some pretty bad teams.

He is the Saints, and 90% why they've had any success. Brady and Manning have had better talent throughout their careers. I don't think that can be argued.

Not taking anything away from those two greats, but they have. Brees has never played with receivers like them. Had a coach like Belichick.

Saints look eerily familiar to the Browns right now.

I totally acknowledge that Brady reads the field slightly quicker, and that Peyton just saw things that other QBs do not while combining it with a really nice arm, but Brees does things that just look unrealistic. His release speed looks like an illusion and the guy never misplaces a ball because of bad reads.

Even if the other two are better, I’ll take Brees to be my franchise QB any day, just because he is so enthralling to watch play. And, if they are better, I doubt it is by enough to make too huge of a difference.

Here come the Saints. They're about to blow the doors off the Texans. I never thought this was going to be a game.

I do think its going to be Pats vs Saints in the Super Bowl. @jking948 My non-Browns dream SB.

I don't care if they're both 40. These two QBs are the true greats of our time. I want to see that show down, if its not the Browns.

I just hope the Saints beat the Pats.

Latavius Murray may end up as a great find for the Saints. He lets them pass to the RB no matter which one is playing. I also love when they put Kamara as a receiver.

Go Saints! They are my favorite non-Browns team to watch.
