2019 Cleveland Browns Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Let's talk about The Rams. Goff is not going to be able to avoid our pressure. Gurley has lost a step. You know McVay is gonna eat Wilkins scheme up and get his guys open so hopefully Randall is back.

I really want to see Freddie get in his bag this game. Wade Phillips is not with the shits. He is going to come after Baker. Get in your bag Freddie!!!!!

You can think the calls are bad, it doesn’t change the fact that he needs to stop driving players into the ground well-after the ball has clearly been released. It’s going to keep getting called.

you mean hitting the QB as he is just releasing the ball?

1 of those calls was questionable. the other one was flat out wrong.

It sucks the jets QB got injured but myles hit him legally.

I have not been impressed by Freddie Kitchens, Baker Mayfield or this Cleveland Brown offense.

All these down the field plays that’s no there needs to cease. Hit the open man. It should be exciting to get those easy pitch and catch 6-7 yard throws. I don’t understand the need to constantly FORCE the ball down the field in double coverage.

This offense is giving me flashback to Haley. Just trash.

lololololololol

Fuck this schedule bruh lololololol

Look at this shit. I hope we run the table.

Absolutely refusing to put a firm judgement on this team until Week 5.

The pieces are there, the signs are there, but the issues are obvious.

Thats really a good way to put it. I think the play calling was better, but still feel Freddie is over his head so far. He should of thrown the flag on that deep throw to Anderson, his toe was on the line and that getting called back shuts the door on NY right there.

If the Browns can somehow find a way to make it through that stretch at .500, they’ll be in real good shape to make a postseason push. The second half of their schedule is almost nothing but cupcakes.

I know a ton of people are shitting on the Steelers for that trade they did tonight in acquiring Fitz for their 1st-round pick in 2020, but it's honestly a great move for them if they believe Mason Rudolph is their next QB for the future, once Ben retires - which supposedly isn't happening just yet anyways.

Steelers have a pretty bad secondary. They're using Joe Haden as their number one guy for crying out loud. They needed a move like this, I'm just happy it wasn't Jalen Ramsey, who I'm still praying Dorsey gets and shoves it down Pittsburgh's throats with a even better move for the secondary.

Onto the actual game.. Browns have a ton of issues on offense, but this offense has continued to be hit with injuries, unfortunately. Higgins being out hurt, he's got amazing chemistry with Mayfield, and he always seems to be the guy Baker loves using early to get into a groove, so that's another adjustment for him under center to work on. The offensive line played better this week, but they still have a ton of issues and are clearly the weakest link on the team. It's a bummer, too.. But they do have a chance to improve on it.

They definitely cleaned up the flags. They didn't have 18 of them this time around, which is a good sign, but it was frustrating seeing Myles Garrett, the leader of the defense essentially get flagged 5 or 6 times tonight. Can't have that from your leader, not when he's expected to lead this group. I have confidence he can clean it up, though.

The next 5 or so games are brutal. Toughest schedule in football without a doubt. The Browns will need Higgins and Randall back Sunday night against the Rams to even have a chance to win that game, and even then I'm worried because the offense just scares me right now with how bad they've been thus far.

Was really excited to see OBJ make that insane one handed grab. Then the 89-yard touchdown was beautiful.. You can just see the offenses potential ooz out at times. It can be scary good, but they have a lot more bumps in this road than most of us thought. I know I for sure didn't expect them to struggle this poorly.

Mayfield needs to relax, calm down and make it happen. He's too good to force shit every play. I've yet to see any trick plays. Anything with OBJ and Landry getting involved to fake the defense. I'm hoping we see that soon.

Overall, 1-1 is what a lot of folks expected.. 2-0 is a lot better, but I'll take this gladly. Big game Sunday night, they win that game and a lot of things change. So let's go get that one.

Side note: I can't stop thinking about how deadly this defense is right now, with their potential and ability to be great. Adding Jalen Ramsey to the mix.. Just too good to be true. But then again, we all thought OBJ was as well, and Dorsey pulled that out of his hat. Hopefully he can do it again.

Thought that was an obvious catch by Anderson. Definitely an inch of grass between his feet and the sideline.

I think his left foot was on the line by a full inch, right foot was in.

ESPN was trying to show it but they hurried down so they wouldnt review. I slowed it down and watch it several times. I really believe he was out by a bit. Deserved a look imo.

These first two games have felt so fucking weird.. maybe it's just the team still trying to put it all together...Idk. It just feels flat and similar to a preseason game atmosphere, which is extremely weird with a Baker Mayfield led team.

It makes me flash back to Malcolm Butlers comment to Jarvis last week about no heart. Maybe heart wasn't the best word to use there. Maybe he meant moreso lacking grit, or having that dawg to em. Maybe it's not having that "underdog" and "Fuck the world, Cleveland over everything" type of attitude. Baker last year had that, calm, I got this, let me show you, swag. First two games this year I'm not really picking up on that from the team as much, and even Bake. It's really weird.

I forget when it was tonight In the game, but it was Bake reading the defense presnap and scanning the coverage, and kinda saw a different look a little bit in his eyes, more hectic, less calm and less confident.

I really dont like this "were talented and we know it and we just gotta show up and win as long as we play decent feel."

I miss that "Let's prove a fucking point and smack this team in its mouth, throat on neck, aggression. "

Here's to hoping it's just still learning each other and all the new parts.

A win versus the Rams will have this forum go bananas. I'm ready.

I just hope they come down from all their hype this offseason and wake up. Slapped in the face and unprepared week one, then felt like a team going 75% for alot of the night tonight. (D did play well but hard to really tell with the talent difference against the jets 3rd string offense)

They need to find that chip and put it back on there shoulder.
