Indians vs White Sox

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I want to be pissed, but this team almost assuredly getting rolled in the postseason softens the blow.

I flip over to Rays games and the stadium is empty. They will make the Playoffs and that shithole they play in will be packed with rabid Rays fans who will act like they have been there the whole time. Florida teams are a thorn in our ass. Makes me sick.

This is true.

Wow what a productive way to think about it

Instead of looking at the games that are upcoming that haven’t been decided, let’s harp on stuff we can’t change! Great point pup!
If they only played with that same little internet rage that we were all blessed with reading there...

If only they had tried harder. They were on cruise control last night.

I just don't agree. Listen, they're pros making a ton of money so I get that people don't want to hear excuses, but this team has gone through the ringer this year. Ridiculous amount of injuries, Cookie's illness, guys in unchartered territory (Bieber is wayyyyyy over his previous max innings in a season), guys being asked to do more than they're ability really allows them to do...they may be running out of gas, but I don't think it's fair to question this team's effort at all. They could have rolled over several times this year and never did.

Derek's post was poking fun at a conversation he recently had on the board with sportscoach. He doesn't actually believe they were on cruise control.

So what about Lindor's approach makes him perform so poorly with RISP?

This has been ongoing all season.

Maybe he should buckle down and try harder.

Nah, he's just been trash in that department, and unlucky mixed in.

Instead of a "funny" rating, why don't we continue discussion @Derek? Why do you think they weren't trying?

I can't get inside his head obviously but it screams of a guy trying to do way too much.

It's a 126 PA sample size, and that's most of the reason.

He had an OPS of .900 in the same situations last year.

I wouldn't read too much into situation splits from a single year.
