2019 Game #9 | #1 Ohio State vs. Maryland | November 9th, 2019 @ 12 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
i get it, but he’s just sharing his opinion on a football forum. It’s like popping into the Browns thread and telling everybody to go talk about something else, it’s just football, dont think about it.

that’s what we’re here for. To talk sports.
I’m fine with the opinion. I guess it’s more the framing/verbiage. There are real things in this world to be “legitimately scared” of. The prospect of a good football team facing off against your favorite good football team is not one of them.

Yeah, just meant it in football terms.

ill admit i always hated the “team x looks scary!” Thing.

but everyone says it, so we knew what he meant. Anyway, lsu looks good.

Harris making it interesting. Tua making some good throws too.

I mean I'm not actually frightened by Joe Burrow or their goofy coach. They're just the one team in the country that I legitimately think could whip Ohio State. They're really, really good. I think we handle Bama, Clemson, the PAC-12, Oklahoma, etc.

LSU... not so sure.
What makes you believe they would “whip” Ohio State? I think it would be a great game. Not sure where they have an advantage over us?

I said I think they're the only team that could, not that they would.

Just looking for a little explanation I guess. Have to remember the Buckeyes have 2 1st round cornerbacks and the best player in college on the defensive line. LSUs defense doesn’t really impress me. Just wondering would would make you believe they “could” whip the Buckeyes.

Coming into this week, LSU's offense was ranked 4th in the country (OSU's was 6th for reference). Next best offense that OSU has played thus far is Indiana, who was T-32nd.

Penn State's is 51st, Wisconsin's is 61st, Nebraska is 64th, etc.

Combine that with LSU's above average defense (they're 23rd coming in), and I think it could be an interesting game. Still though, OSU has tore up some really good defenses this year (Wisconsin, Indiana, Mich. State).

I just think it would be interesting to see OSU get into a shootout type of game, and I think LSU could provide that. Burrow is superb at reading college defenses based on what I've watched.

Whip might have been a bad word, but I do definitely think that LSU and OSU are the top two teams in the country.

Burrow is so fucking good

LSU's running back is a truck.

SEC getting 2 in now I bet

I dont know why everyone is afraid of a team like LSU whooping us when the fans of LSU have the exact same fear of the Buckeyes in the back of their mind.
