2019 Game #9 | #1 Ohio State vs. Maryland | November 9th, 2019 @ 12 PM EST

So bama stays in top 4 right

I thought you were joking.
Then I realized everyone else sucks.

Coming into this week, LSU's offense was ranked 4th in the country (OSU's was 6th for reference). Next best offense that OSU has played thus far is Indiana, who was T-32nd.

Penn State's is 51st, Wisconsin's is 61st, Nebraska is 64th, etc.

Combine that with LSU's above average defense (they're 23rd coming in), and I think it could be an interesting game. Still though, OSU has tore up some really good defenses this year (Wisconsin, Indiana, Mich. State).

I just think it would be interesting to see OSU get into a shootout type of game, and I think LSU could provide that. Burrow is superb at reading college defenses based on what I've watched.

Whip might have been a bad word, but I do definitely think that LSU and OSU are the top two teams in the country.

Also believe that OSU could very easily be ranked higher in total offense if our starters would have played more than >75% of the season. I believe our defense very easily could be #1 for that same reason.

1. LSU 2. OSU 3. Clemson 4. Bama is my guess

Exactly how I see it.

Ultimately I think that’s gonna be your final four if everything plays out as it should.

Repeat conference games in the playoffs would be so boring though. At least stagger them.

Auburn is going to finish 9-3 at best, most likely. Why does that — as Alabama’s conceivably biggest win — function as a more deserving feat over Oregon winning out and taking the PAC-12?

I’m aware of the common opponent dynamic; it wasn’t as if Oregon got ripped apart in that game either.

There is the argument that Oregon lost to Auburn

Yea I get they arent a traditional powrt but Minnesota is 9-0 and actuslly has a big win.

Alabama before today had thw weakest schedule of any power 5 team. Then they lost at home.

We'll see if the committee has the stones to put Minnesota in the top 4.

And then imagine they lose a nail biter to OSU in the big 10 title game? Now who gets in?
