Game Thread 2019-20 Season Game #15 | Cleveland Cavaliers @ Dallas Mavericks | Nov 22th, 2019

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
this past week and a half has been eye opening...thought we could start competing every night but this team needs to aquire as much draft capital as we can...time to dump TT and Love...not that they're bad but theres no point keeping them...get a few picks for em...the more we get the better chance we have of hitting...Sexton Garland Porter? who knows how they'll develope but the time has come...because this current roster is abysmal

They do have the NBA's biggest cheat code in Luka Doncic. Its only his 2nd year and hes approaching best player in the league rapidly. Top 10 at the least at 20 years old. How 2 teams passed on him and 1 team traded him away I'll never know. Such a shame we couldn't get him.

Atlanta fans can fool themselves with Young who is a good player but Marvin Bagley?!?!?!?

Schedule got tougher and TT has come back to earth.

Perimeter players are currently really, really bad. Really bad.

Its gonna be rough until they show growth.

Bagley might end up better then Ayton. Suns are the ones who look the worst. Suns team is better with Baynes. Suns could have had a Booker - Doncic backcourt.

Love has looked so disengaged in recent games, minimal effort on the defensive end and turnover prone.

Yes it is shit for a vet to be on a tanking team but you would hope the enthusiasm to lead would last for the first month of the season.

Wow I forgot about them. Imagine Doncic and Booker

Well KLove gave up after the semi-decent start saw the team was going no where. Hes just waiting for the end of the season so he can go travel the world again this summer. He has his ring. He has the bank account. Now hes just chilling.

Hes been bad tonight.

But I can't imagine playing with this guard rotation is enjoyable as a big man.

A rookie who has barely played in the last year.

And then two guys who simply refuse to pass the ball.

Luka man... And Porzingis is finally playing the style I thought he would play in the NBA before he got drafted, which is to be an elite shot-blocker and space the floor with the ability to drive to the rim. None of that Carmelo Anthony shit of contested 2-pointers.

Ultimately Sexton is the guy who will need to go to the bench. But not yet.

I'm waiting for the "back injury" so he sits out a couple months. I can't see him here after the deadline. I could see him making
a request to go to a contender if possible.

I don't see it. Kevin seems to be happy with 1 ring. Fat Bank account. Enjoying his summers now. Some guys are just happy to have won and like to enjoy themselves. That extra month or two off can mean a lot to a guy who already has a ring.

I think the past week shows that you need more than just two lineups and you can only play a certain amount to the way you want to. There are teams build very differently than the tradition lineups. A coach needs to be able to adjust on the fly.

We might not have great depth to be able to match up completely with a wide variety of lineups but the depth is good enough that Beilein should be able to adjust alot more than he has.

Given how much time he has missed in recent years I would be surprised if he wants to sit out.

Guys like Love and TT can contribute on good teams, being stuck in the purgatory of a tanking team must be demoralizing, wasting some of your prime years teaching young boneheads to walk. Good money though.
