I mean I get his skill set is needed. But I think we should try to find another source for rim protection/blocks considering his health issues. Also have to factor in if he would want to resign with us or not.
 
One down, two to go. Trade TT and Love for draft picks and bad contracts that expire after this season. Throw in the 2021 1st round pick to get rid of Love's contract if necessary. Use the money saved from the expired/traded contracts of TT, Love, Knight, and Delly to sign Hassan Whiteside and resign Henson.

So going into next season the roster would be:

Guards: Garland, Sexton, Porter, Exum

Small forwards: Cedi, Windler

Power forwards: Nance, Henson

Centers: Whiteside, Zizic

Draft pick: Top ten pick in 2020

I would much rather keep KLove then pay Whiteside a dime.

If the Cavs trade their 2021 first then I’ll stop following the team. Sam Vecenie constantly talks about how that draft class is stacked.

Even with solid vets, I don't want him. Rather they trade for Myles Turner or Montrezl Harrell and extend one of them.
 
Whiteside is a money match, only reason you take him back in a love trade, and he would need to come with a first and a prospect.. not sure Portland could muster that..
 
Who plays center next year if Thompson leaves in free agency and we can't get the #2 overall pick to draft James Wiseman?
