Although, even when we were winning games, we still have trolls come out just to say that we can't be competitive come playoff time.

Baseball right now is just stagnate with their news since very little is going on. Only reason why we had any posts is cause the Twins signed a couple guys and we DFA’d Haase which was a surprise.

Indians here soon will likely do some NRI signings but otherwise I don’t think we will do much else in the next few weeks.

We have a mod who actually cares about keeping this working well so that makes this site nice plus we do have a lot of posters who know there stuff. I just end up talking a lot/saying random statements since this is the only place I get to talk sports lol
 
Not really a move or rumor, but Dalbert Siri getting an NRI to spring training with the MLB squad should be fun to watch. Has little idea where his stuff goes, but upper 90s with a plus slider is fun to see in the early spring games. Indians have a crop of those types just on the fringe too, big power arms with plus breaking pitches and little idea where it’s going.

Have they announced who is all getting a NRI to camp from our minor leagues?

I think that is still a work in progress.

I would assume some other bullpen arms like Sandlin/ Broom/ Cam Hill/ Jared Robinson will get invites. I also assume starters like Adam Scott/ Eli Morgan/ Kyle Dowdy, even Triston McKenzie will be invited. Look for another dozen or so position players led by K Tom & Ernie Clement to get invites..
 
Say what you will about the Tribe efforts to lock up its younger talent over the years, I don't recall any multi year deals given to players for multi-millions of dollars that haven't made MLB debuts.

Deals like this one & the one by Philly with Kingery will be poster childs for the next player strike & evidence of how the big bad owners are doing players wrong...

The White Sox did a pretty similar deal with Eloy Jimenez last year, iirc
 
Kingery's extension was for only $24m guaranteed. Eloy got $43m guaranteed and looks like Robert gets $50m guaranteed

You recall correctly. Add it to the list too.

I won't lump in the Ronald Acuna deal because he debuted the prior season

Matt Moore was a player who they signed before he made his MLB debut for the Rays and it was the first time a team did that if I recall correctly
