New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
2 episodes into the 3 part mini series “Don't Fuck With Cats”. Pretty damn compelling so far.

Insane, fucked up story.

Anyone that murders kittens or puppies deserves a slow, painful death.

I really enjoyed "You" season 2

...

I questioned how they were going make a season 2 of "You" but they made a good continuation of the story while keeping to the same formula.

Finally finished the season a little bit ago.

I wonder if, and how, they'll make a Season 3.

I completely understand that we should't like either Joe or Love, but I like the potential for a Bonnie and Clyde dynamic.

A lot of redditors are speculating that the woman at the end is Joe's mom, but some speculated on her being part of the Beck squad. If they really wanted to throw a curveball, they could have Beck be alive, but I don't think they can pull the same trick twice.

How did you do that blurred spoiler thing?

I enjoyed the Kevin Hart docu-series on Netflix.

Watchmen was really fucking good. Incredibly well filmed and written. But I would highly recommend reading the graphic novel first as you’d be missing a lot without it. It’s a sequel to the graphic novel and basically assumes that you read it first (or at least watched the movie).

Isn’t the movie essentially the same minus the giant squid monster? And obviously Zack Snyder over stylizing it?

Pretty much. It’s sufficient to watch the movie beforehand - you’ll understand what’s going on in the TV show.

Anyone watch Mr Robot? I'm at the beginning of S2 and it's kind of hard to follow with Elliott's continual blackouts. Worth sticking with?

Man I'm finally watching Chernobyl and my ass is glued.

Did you finish it yet?

The way they explained exactly what happened in that final episode was just riveting.

Definitely worth sticking with. There is a reason why NBC Universal basically gave Sam Esmail, who is the creator of the show, his own terms to his new contract. Apparently he didn't want to be locked to just one of NBC Universal's networks or streaming services, he wanted to choose where the content he makes gets released.

"No terms are being disclosed but I hear the deal is the biggest ever for UCP, paying Esmail in the $20-25 million range per year, as the studio stepped up in a big way to keep its leading writer-producer-director. In addition to the big financial offer, key for Esmail’s decision to stay at UCP was his long-standing relationship with the company, headed by Dawn Olmstead, and its parent NBCUniversal, as well as the opportunity to produce premium content for any linear networks and streaming platforms, including the recently announced NBCU OTT service. It will be run by Bonnie Hammer who oversaw NBCU’s cable networks and UCP in her previous role."

The Expanse has to be one of my favorite shows right now.

I know there's a fifth season in the works, but is there an actual release date?
