Hopefully they can find a trade sooner than later. If he is shouting at Koby and the coaching staff, my guess is he doesn't like Beilein and the coaching staff.

I could see Vet player hating Beilein's offense and the slow or lack of adjustments. It seems like Clarkson and Love were good friends, which could add to his frustrations.

Rubio and Wade had him pegged a long time ago.

Koby could’ve duped him into 110 mill (lol) and these young players might not be good enough or playing the “right way” however none of that excuses his behavior and utter lack of professionalism. Also highly disappointed in Frye. He might be supporting his friend or speaking his mind but he would never do this himself. To argue that Koby promised them they would compete with Lue and JR?!? One wasn't hired as a HC and the other is looking for a job. The delusions of grandeur are unreal and downright scary.

I've been a Love proponent up until now. Tell the crybaby to accept a revised contract for reduced pay to improve his trade value or shut the hell up.

This ain't the NFL man. NBA don't do revised contracts.

I said this right when LeBron left. Trade him asap for assets. But. Nope. Cavs went and signed him to a big contract instead.

I think Love was good for Sexton and Cedi last season. Now though the dynamic of the team has changed and he probably feels his role is useless on the team. Last year the vets really took ownership of teaching Sexton and Cedi. I think the staff allowed the vets the freedom to teach and run the type of offense they thought was best for the team.

Now they have a complete different coaching staff and Beilein seems to be taking his own approach to developing the young guys. I'm not even sure Beilein has watch that much tape on Love to figure out where and how to use him best.

I don't believe that Beilein's current offense will be effective long term. It just doesn't have enough of the things NBA offenses are built around. He has been slow to evolve it and make adjustments. I could see Love just realizing that the Cavs aren't going to be competitive anytime soon and Beilein probably won't take them far before retiring regardless. I could see it being a hard situation to buy into and it feeling like wasted time until he is traded.

Wow...

Little context or nuance is needed to excuse this behavior and if I’m being honest low IQ strategic move. What team wants to trade for that?

The notion of signing guys so you don’t lose them for nothing hasn’t proven to be fruitful recently. A team is just saddled with an expensive guy who despite being good is simply an asset and not part of the future. A smart GM would trade a player 1-2 years before their current deal is up not extend them 5 years at 30 mill. Koby shouldn’t be blameless in this either. Awful management all around.

If only someone were here to calm him. @The Oi @jking948

This is Kevin Love’s 13th season in the nba and he is handling this situation like a 19 year old rookie. Frustration with Sexton may be justified, but the way he has expressed his frustration is not and will only make it more difficult for the team to trade him for any sort of value. I see no reason why the Cavs should trade him unless they receive something of value. His cap space does basically nothing for us.

Might be an opportunity with Phoenix right now,,Kaminsky is out indefinitely, Saric has been benched and fallen out of favor. They are starting Ayton at power forward. A trade of Tyler JOhnson, Saric and a protected first rounder for Love. Love would be happy to reunite with JJ and the Cavs would be rid of his sorry ass.

The Suns are 14-21. Why would they want a 31-year-old? I'm thinking any team that wants Love is a team that expects to make a run at the Finals this year and next.

"His cap space does nothing for us".

Really? We can't do anything with $30 million a year for the next three years? There aren't any good NBA players who would take that money?

I know it's an article from The Bullshit Whisperer but it has some good quote for what happen. From the quotes, Loves problems seem to be with Beilein more than anything.

"5. Then came the actual game, when Love openly pouted on the court. It happened at the end of the first half. Cavs point guard Collin Sexton followed the instructions of his coach and dribbled time off the clock. Love was stationed near the free-throw line, calling for the ball. But getting the ball to Love wasn't the play.

6. Love eventually did get the ball, snapped a pass to Cedi Osman, then stormed away. As an aside, Osman was fouled while taking a 3-pointer after receiving the pass from Love. The play worked out for the Cavs. Just not for Love.

7. After the game, Beilein took the blame. "That was my mistake," he said. "I wanted us to get the last shot. (Love) had Chris Paul posted up. I didn't see it."

8. Love also addressed the sequence. "We were in the bonus and Chris Paul was on me," he said. "I thought we should swing it. ... Yeah, I was frustrated."

9. Frustrated is one thing. Showing that frustration is OK, too. Stomping away like an angry child in front of your bench is something else entirely."
