I feel like I'm in a crazy place with everyone rooting for a citizen to be arrested for touching a cop's butt.

There is no danger in that situation. There is no need to restrain or incarcerate an individual. The police should be attempting to de-escalate all situations. The most I could see is a concern for how inebriated OBJ was and try to make sure someone would be responsible for him.

I mean, it’s clear cut sexual harassment and it’s disappointing how the same people who would say it’s obviously innappropriate to touch someone’s ass without their consent when it’s someone they don’t like doing it make it sound like its just a big witch hunt when it’s a guy on their favorite team doing it

kind of crazy how locker room talk as an excuse was viewed as a simply unacceptable lack of accountability, but this “rent a cop” should be fine with anyone touching his ass in a disrespectful manner on camera.

If you want to treat it as sexual harassment, that's fine. But people are saying he should have been arrested on the spot. There's a large difference between those two points.

He's like a man child. Always getting in trouble for pushing boundaries and emotional outbursts.

When you're as talented as OBJ, then it's a free pass to be obnoxious. I guess.

Both the cop and OBJ are in the wrong. Cop shouldn't be in there and OBJ needs to keep his hands to himself. Don't touch another person without their consent, it's not a hard concept.

This doesn't effect how he'll perform on the field so it's whatever. I just think this guy isn't above criticism when he behaves like this.

Yes.

What if the cop had been wearing shorts and obj had made skin to skin contact? Or if the cop had been a woman?

We’d be having a totally different conversation.

He needs to think about this in prison.

It would be funny to see the reversal of reactions in this thread if it were Baker Mayfield who slapped that cop's ass
