The more I think about it, the more I think the Titans are going to be really, really tough to beat. As a Chiefs fan, I've had that inner confidence that we can just smoke them with our offense. But now I honestly do believe it might be a real struggle to beat them.
Of course Derrick Henry gets that respect. But it isn't just about him. The Titans have had shut down defense the last two games, they have elite coaching, and Tannehill will likely have a great game. They execute in the red zone. They are really just a tough and tough minded football team.
Arrowhead could be the difference maker. But Titans have already won on the road twice. They are confident. The Chiefs are very confident too but I'm worried they might be over confident. I always have confidence in Pat if it's a shootout. But the Titans play the one style that can frustrate us and beat us. And they play it well.
The strategy will probably be to let Derrick Henry get his and try to limit their passing game as much as possible. I don't know if that is the best strategy available, but it might be since Henry will likely get his either way. A problem for the Chiefs is that Chris Jones may not play again. That could be a tough blow in a game like this.
