BROWNS OFF-SEASON 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

every player says they want to win. Even players who come here say they think they can win here. It’s just player speak. it’s not a slight on Cleveland. Everyone says it. He took the money. Like he should.

This guy would be a way better veteran linebacker signing than Clay 3:

Experienced in Jim Schwartz's system, which features a nine wide alignment often. He has played middle linebacker and strong side. Philly let the 30 year old go for cap reasons.

I've been on the Bradham train for awhile because not only does he bring sufficient experience he also does something none of our other LBs can do: cover...

Bradham has had very good coverage metrics the last few years and would an element the Browns currently don't have within their LB core..

To my knowledge, medicals have been the thing holding up Bradham's market with a torn labrum as well as an ankle injury that plagued him last year..

Any LB, or even LB/S hybrid, they bring in, I would hope adds the ability to cover although I have a feeling they will deploy Delpit a lot in that role...

So what do you realistically want to see out of the schedule release tonight?

I've been seeing a lot of people throw out a Cowboys/Browns matchup on Turkey Day? You feel one of our "primetime" games will be against one of the NY teams as we play both the Giants/Jets in NY.

Games I want to attend/go to (if allowed):

Raiders
Washington
at TENN (love Nashville)

I want a Sunday night game vs Pitt or Balt.
Thursday night against an NFC team, preferably a playoff team.
Pittsburgh game in the first 6 weeks and then the other in the last three weeks. Same with Baltimore.
I have no desire for a MNF game.

I'd say the Giants game has a high chance of being prime time.

My group's plan before all of this going down was to go to one of the NY games. NY/NJ is a mess right now, so who knows if that's still an option. We haven't been to Jax yet either, so that could be an option as well. Of course, FLA is a mess too with the Covid stuff.

According to John Clayton, all AFC North teams will be playing NFC East teams in each of the first four weeks of the season. So no chance of a Turkey game unless the season doesn't start until November.

Florida is below Ohio in cases and deaths per capita and ahead in testing per capita. Dallas would be the safest if you're booking a trip based on that.

The first Browns vs. Steelers game will be nationally televised 100%. At least one Ravens vs. Browns game will be on national TV. Other than that, I don't see the point of guessing. It all comes out today. I do think there will be less national exposure than last year since Freddie and the boys were overhyped. It's tough to sell the Browns in 2020 until they prove otherwise.

We shall see.

The Browns went 2-2 in premium games last year (beat NY Jets & Pitts, lost close to Rams & crushed at SF).
Last year the NFL switched the 2nd CLE/ Pitts from a 4 pm Sunday game to a 1 PM Sunday game after the way the 1st game ended (under 21 days earlier)...
