2020 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm not sure why the NFL didn't at least attempt to do divisional bubbles. They could've played 6 weeks straight, leave a week or two to travel to a new bubble so everyone essentially has built-in bye weeks, play another 6-week schedule, etc.

They basically did nothing at all to account for positive tests and potential cancellations. They couldn't have done a full bubble-like the NBA due to roster sizes and the number of coaches / staff, but doing something like this would've at least taken some preventative steps.

I also wonder if these new developments with the NFL will give the BIG 10 any pause when it comes to restarting.

I am curious what the late game of the CBS doubleheader will be tomorrow. Pretty much the whole nation was going to get chiefs pats. Now it will probably be the bills raiders game.

That's still going to be a good game.

Although it's a bit unnerving that the Raiders just had to do the charity event superspreader, and we have no idea yet if it will cause problems for this game...

It is always interesting to see which QBs work out and those that don't.

I don't think many of us saw Josh Allen as a future star, but he is really doing well this season. Not just punishing air either, but completing passes.

Darnold has terrible face, not bad.

Bills are a really well-built team. Today was a great example of that. They can adjust to their opponent. Largely, I think consistency from the GM and head coach really help a QB develop.

I don’t think Josh Allen is the third best QB in the NFL. I’m not even sure he’s a top-10 QB. But he’s in a situation that he’s grown into and it lets him perform at this level.

Allen has turned out far better than I expected. He seemed inaccurate in college and had bust written all over him IMO. Good for him and Buffalo that he is working out

For sure, if he keeps playing like this, I'll be pretending to wipe my profile clean of anything speaking ill of Allen (I won't delete though).

Carson Wentz is broken.
I really think they Andrew Luck'd him.

Interesting to see what he could do with actual weapons. Hes out there throwing to undrafted free agents, has a first time starting LT, and a rookie RT.

And the Eagles draft Jalen Hurts......

He likely needs a fresh start (new team) and Philly needs to rebuild.

I remember two years ago @godfather and I were talking about Goff vs. Wentz and both posited that Goff may be better. That, of course, was in the first half of the Rams' SB season. Never thought it was true afterwards, but damn, Wentz has done nothing to take the title back.

I think Hurts will start this season if Wentz continues this type of play.

I have Hurts in multiple dynasty leagues so bring it the fuck on!
