2020 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Dude's not going to survive this year.

He's currently on pace for 752 pass attempts this year. To put that in perspective, Goff and Winston tied for the league lead last year with 626. Stafford in 2012 was the last QB to go over 700 attempts.

That being said, the likelihood of him not getting injured this year is slim-to-none, so I highly doubt he'll approach that number.

If Tannehill and Henry are two of the three COVID players, and the AFC Central Classic goes on this weekend as scheduled, then Steelers are officially the luckiest team alive.

TN and MIN are already not practicing in-house all week.

Steelers/Titans officially Monday or Tuesday now.

The 3 positive players were no one of Tannehill's or Henry's level of importance, but there is a 4th positive test whose name had not been made public.

My thoughts are going to make me go to hell.

Well, this was one of the more Titans-favorable outcomes, if that's what you're getting at.

Tannehill/Henry healthy as far as we know, and extra day(s) to make up for the facility closure, rather than proceeding on Sunday.

I don't think there was ever going to be a "move the bye week up" scenario, unless maybe if it has been Tanny/Henry. Steelers were always going to push hard on "lol forfeit if u no play this wk, we want our bye week midseason and we did nothing to change that."

It also would've created a lot of precedent, and limited options for future reschedules.

Wow, I thought the contingency of early this coming week was going to work...and this is with the 4th player apparently still not being one of their ~5 most important players - it was LB Kamalei Correa.

I wonder who the coaches/training staff are; Vrabel is fairly young/healthy although he could have complications because he chews tobacco.

Edit: looks like the player count is up to 5, with CB Kristian Fulton.

Darnold is not good. Not accurate. Just looks bad.

Only way I see them keeping Adam Gase is so that he can drive the tank for Trevor.

Titans up to 7 players now.

If Henry/Tanny are ill, that could start causing problems in the following week. Remember that the bye week is already used up, done for.

Also some questions from the NFLPA about whether this is considered proper byecweek protocol, i.e. Steelers haven't officially gotten their "4 straight days off" required.

No word yet that I'm aware of if the bus driver from the TEN/MIN game caused spread to the Twins/Astros...
