I'm not sure why the NFL didn't at least attempt to do divisional bubbles. They could've played 6 weeks straight, leave a week or two to travel to a new bubble so everyone essentially has built-in bye weeks, play another 6-week schedule, etc.
They basically did nothing at all to account for positive tests and potential cancellations. They couldn't have done a full bubble-like the NBA due to roster sizes and the number of coaches / staff, but doing something like this would've at least taken some preventative steps.
I also wonder if these new developments with the NFL will give the BIG 10 any pause when it comes to restarting.
