MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL vs Ravens

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Without Ward and Harrison this is probably the worst defense in the league. People don’t know yet because the stats are helped out by those atrocious weather games.

I’m not even sure the defense is better than bottom 5 with those guys. It’s a shit show.
This is why they should dedicate the draft/offseason to getting a better defense, and a reliable kicker.

Lol at guys getting mad at the team about this loss.

That’s as good as you can ask for from this team. That was fun as hell and these dudes are legit.

Get a better defense through the draft and you’ll have a legitimate playoff contender in one year. The offense is there.
Yeah. I mean, what did people really expect?

This Browns team, the 2020 Browns, are at their peak right now. Losing this game is a bummer, but this team is playing at their absolute ceiling right now. The offense is as elite as you can get. Baker appears to be a legitimate Franchise QB at this point, and right now I believe that to be the case. BUT - this defense is complete trash. This is something we have all known since before this season started.

Nothing that happened tonight was unexpected. The offense was incredible and the defense sucked. This is the 2020 Browns. And it's good! This is a playoff team and they are fun to watch.

But this team is not, and never was, a Super Bowl contender. No defense this bad can win a Super Bowl, it just can't.

To reiterate - this team is the best possible version of themselves that they can be. This is a good thing. This was a good game and a good performance, overall. They played as well as you can reasonably expect.

Beat the shitty New York teams, enjoy the playoff game(s), blow up the defense and gear up for Super Bowl contention starting next season.

You're seriously going to try to blame Mayfield for that loss?

seriously. previous seasons, Baker would have folded after that pick and the whole team would have followed.
Instead, when it mattered, he got the go ahead score and when the defense shat the bed, he got the tie score. LATE in the 4th.

this is the best he has ever looked in the NFL; he looks like he actually deserves to be featured in those commercials now.

Which is so weird because we knew the Titans were going to do that too and somehow randomly were able to stop it.

The Titans just decided they'd rather throw to their big fast wideouts that the Brown's couldnt cover.

Even that game. The Browns forced three turnovers I believe and gave up 35 points anyway.

This defense can't stop any competent offensive team at the moment.

Luckily they've got the Giants and Jets coming up.

I’m not stressing this one too much.

Sucks to lose, but the Browns have a very good, very well coached offense.

Shore up the defense next year in free agency and the draft and baby you got a stew going.

The only way this defense gets stops is turnovers. In the Titans game, they got several turnovers.

Tonight, they got none. Thus, the team loses.

The turnover battle is essential to this team's success or failure.

I've been saying this for years, but we really need to improve our speed in the defensive back 7. Ward and Greedy and probably Delpit could be fine, but our linebackers are sloooooooow, and so are our safeties (and backup CBs). They looked like they were running in sand tonight, and not just against Lamar.

Btw the blitz up the middle on the 4th and 5 was a clown fiesta.

Awful call against Lamar Jackson for one.

There's not a QB in the history of football you'd rather force out of the pocket less than him.

But then on the back end you had, literally, 4 Brown's run into each other. Two on one side of the field and two on the other.

You can stop or at least slow down the Titans running game by using 5 down linemen. The only thing that does against Baltimore is to make it easier for Jackson to run wild - just one more slow guy on the field.

Need to bring Julius Peppers back and put him in a time machine.

He was always awesome at handling the running QBs.

Yeah I couldn’t believe it. Jackson rolls right and if he runs he’s 10-15 yards downfield before anyone catches him. Just a stupid playcall

Nah. Dude couldn’t even contain JT Barrett. He sucks
