Cedi has one of the best contracts in the entire league.

Not a great way to start the season with Love, Porter, Delly, Exum, and Dotson out. Nance will be a game time decision. Also, Sexton barely played in the pre-season. I'm not sure who they start at power forward. Wade? Cedi?

They're very short on guards without Porter, Delly, Exum, and Dotson. All that leaves is Sexton and Garland. I imagine they'll have Okoro play the 2 but that leaves them short on the front line. Windler and Wade should get a lot of minutes.

Edit: Looks like Nance will start at the 4 and Dotson is not on the injury report.

72 games and it starts tonight.

Interesting that Okoro tied for the team high with 34 minutes while Cedi only got 18. Cedi made two big treys back-to-back in the third when the Hornets were making their run and had cut the Cavs' lead to single digits. He was the momentum buster.

I did like JB brought him in early. Only thing I would change is I would take the cooler guard out first. He took Sexton out when he was red hot.

Yeah that was odd, maybe he was on a minutes restriction

He just left Hayward wide open 3 times in the third quarter. I think 20-22 minutes is about right, he can be a super productive player in that time with his shooting ability + transition play but anything more and he tends to go missing

What's the deal with his defense? Why is he so bad on that end? He should have all the tools
Unfortunately it means he can only play with half of Sexland or it hurts us the other end too much

Most surprising to me is how his cutting has developed into a weapon all to itself
I remember him being a really good cutter and moving without the ball in his rookie year... But since LeBron left, no more good passer and ball movement with the Cavs, he tried hard being a creator which is not really his game....

Why was he benched the end of the game plus all of OT? Okoro wasn’t having a great game must have been he defence?
