Another team effort where everybody contributed and nobody had a bad game. For the Nets three players (Kyrie, Harden, Green) combined for 70 points; the other eight players combined for 43. They depend so much on their Big Three. The Cavs OTOH scored 125 points and nobody had more than 25 with six in double figures.
The Cavs' offense was outstanding as they shot 51.7% from the field and also drew a ton of fouls, scoring 27 points at the free throw line. Nine Cavs' players got 16+ minutes as JBB kept the fresh legs coming relentlessly and wore down the Nets for the second time in two games.
The Cavs had some great numbers including the 50-29 rebounding edge already mentioned. Their bench outscored the Nets' bench 53-31 and at the end of the game Carr was saying the same thing I've been saying, that the Cavs' may have the strongest and deepest bench in the league. Allen had 19 points in 19 minutes while Prince had 14 points in 22 minutes with a +14.
Windler looked very comfortable in his first game back. Garland struggled a bit offensively as he went 4-for-13 and got a couple of layups blocked, but he hasn't played in nine games.
The Cavs destroyed the Nets at center with Drummond and Allen combining for 38 points and 22 rebounds in 48 minutes. I feel sorry for McGee. The Nets' only center is DeAndre Jordan who had 9 points and 4 rebounds in 26 minutes and committed four turnovers.
The Nets have to be thinking they should have kept Allen and Prince after the two of them combined for 62 points and 27 rebounds off the bench the last two games. A team consisting of Kyrie and Harris at guard, Durant and Prince at forward, and Allen at center with Jordan, Green, and Brown coming off the bench should be pretty good.
