Game Thread 2020-21 Season | Game #17 | Lakers @ Cavaliers | January 25, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Is it normal for streams to freeze every 5 minutes? It’s crystal clear and works fine but every 5 mins I have to refresh.

Bottom line is I don't know many teams undersized at 1-3 who have ever been good.

Maybe Okoro moves to bench, maybe Garland does. Idk.

I just don't think we can start those 3 in the long run.

In the long run no but they need to start them all this season. They can win half of their games starting them. They'll struggle against teams like this with LeBron and Durant. But not everyone has big time scoring wings like that.

Garland’s handle gives him so much space...he looks like Steph dribbling around. Smooth, crisp. More fluid than Kyrie in terms of the flow of the game.

Yet he doesn’t let it fly.

I don’t want anyone shooting shots they aren’t comfortable with, but it’s perplexing either way.

If Garland and Windler is in the game we should have more pin down actions rather than the horns handoff ad nauseaum

Which stream you using? What type of device? How good is your internet?

I got a new router and a new laptop and have zero issues with most popular streams. Even when casting the streams from a laptop to a TV

I can't believe we are only 7 down,,,and you guys are spot on about Okoro's size.
Did he shrink in the off season?

Sort of reminds me of College QBs when they get to the NFL. They have to really redefine what it means for a WR to be "open"

Garland is getting space and looks. He's gotta be more willing to take the shot. You're not getting wide open space at this level 85 percent of the time.

I thought,he would take the open shot this season. He's still passive..
He’s still less than a traditional NBA season(82 games) into his career and is just 3 games back from missing 8.

Unless we do something drastic, it’s about where most of these guys are in 2023-2027 not where they are now.

Garland and WIndler 0 3pt attempts...
From an extremely limited sample size, Windler’s release looks extremely slow to me. It’s awfully difficult for him to get his shot off against NBA players. I hope I’m wrong.

2027? Jesus Christ Sexton might not even be here in 2027. We can't be looking that far ahead with this group.

I'd be curious how Haliburton looks next to Okoro. To me Haliburton is taller than advertised and Okoro is smaller. Haliburton might be the what if guy for Okoro going forward.
