He played Stevens to give them someone a little bigger who could switch and guard the 3.

They aren't gonna play Javale McGee when all they're trying to do is guard the 3 point line.

I wasn’t commenting on the “play McGee” nearly as much as “wtf Stevens”. Didn’t seem the place to play the tweener 2-way rookie with very little experience when you have Dotson and Cedi with tons more experience defending what was going to be a ton a screens to get off a 3.
 
Allen is dramatically more efficient than Drummond. Plus his defense is better and he actually sets picks. We stole him for basically nothing.

Yea he was dreadful defensively in the first half.

Two straight backdoor cuts that led to layups and then caught ball watching as a skip pass zoomed right by his ear for an open corner 3.

Didn't see the court after that, I don't think.
