2021 NBA Draft Safari

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There's an And-1 for Cade :chuckle:

Yes! Interested to see how he approaches the rest of the game, especially if it stays close. Liberty's not a good defensive team, so he should be able to attack and score, but that also opens him up to committing turnovers.

Not truly bad games from guys but ones where potential lottery picks just aren’t showing out. Strange that none of the guys today have had a big game.

Per 100 possessions comparison:

Player A: 31.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 2.2 steals, 1.2 blocks, 6.5 turnovers on .454/.412/.854 shooting splits
Player B: 38.2 points, 17.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.1 steals, 2.5 blocks, 4.6 turnovers on .473/.358/.748 shooting splits

Player A: Cade Cunningham
Player B: Jabari Parker (freshman year at Duke)

I wonder how much Cunningham's handlers are paying the announcers to hype him up during a 3-14 performance (1 assist 4 turnovers)

Kinda sad that Grimes isn't getting more love. He's done so much to reinvent himself as one of the NCAA's premier outside shooters since his flameout freshman season at KU, and he's leading a really good Houston team. Seems like he could be an ideal roleplayer SG at the next level.

Cade Cunningham was a first team all american? Surely there were more deserving guys than him? Hell, Evan Mobley had a hands down better season from on court impact, right?

Yeah, it's a farce

It's really hard to believe how well Sengun is playing at the moment. 19 points on just 7 shots to go with 5 boards, 5 assists, and 3 steals today.

And that's one hell of a poster dunk. Would love to see the shot from the baseline cameraman.

His name is going to be continuously butchered isn't it.

Depends on what your need is! If you need a scorer and somebody who can lead an offense then Cade is your man. If you need a rim protector then Mobley is your man. Cade is the type of player the Cavs need. Length, leadership, able to score in various ways and can play the 1, 2 and 3 spots!

Nightmare half for Barnes, with 0 points, 0 assists, and 3 turnovers. Looks like he wasn't quite prepared for the intensity of this defense.

I like Garza, but Iowa's Keegan Murray is just getting more and more interesting. Not only is he a swiss army knife defender, he's also growing by leaps and bounds offensively. I think it's relatively unlikely that he'll declare, but if he does, he's a late first round guy for me at the absolute minimum.

Evan Mobley is the best prospect in this draft imo. Maybe there’s a relatively small chance he actually ends up as the best given the number of elite prospects, but it’s just so easy to project him as a difference maker at the next level.

As people see more of Mobleys game on both sides of the ball and see more of Jarret Allen’s game, what the board opinion on how well they could play together?

Obviously, some of their minutes could be staggered so they’re not always on the court at the same time but ultimately, could they okay at a high level together in a way that is advantageous on both sides of the ball for the first 6 minutes of the game, the first 6 minutes of the second half, and the final 6-8 minutes of the game.

Would we be at a defensive disadvantage with two super tall guys in today’s NBA with so much footspeed and athleticism 1-4? Or could they handle switches and one on one matchups against smaller athletic PFs and big wings
