Why not? I mean the 2016 team wasn't supposed to be good at the start and we made the world series. No one had us in the World Series and most didnt even have us winning the division. We have a young and hungry team so let them hunger and win

Not trying to bust basebaaas, but if Franimal is cranking 39 dingers, he is going north of 100+ RBI's.

Hey @sportscoach - what's the deadline for submissions?

Hey @sportscoach - what's the deadline for submissions?

Yeah, you're probably right. Did a bit of research, and of the past few seasons, here's some guys that hit 39+ HR and didn't eclipse the 97 RBIs that I predict Jose will lead the squad with.

- George Springer, 2019 (39 HR, 96 RBI)
- Christian Yelich, 2019 (44 HR, 97 RBI)
- Joey Gallo, 2018 (40 HR, 92 RBI)
- Mike Trout, 2018 (39 HR, 79 RBI)
- Joey Gallo, 2017 (41 HR, 80 RBI)
- Cody Bellinger, 2017 (39 HR, 97 RBI)

So... it happens, but pretty infrequently. Of those three seasons I looked at (2017-19), those were the only guys that hit 39+ HR and had 97 or less RBIs. There were a good chunk of guys outside of those above that hit 39+ HR and were over 100 RBIs.

So yeah, my prediction (as usual) isn't great. :chuckle:

1987... Brook Jacoby with 32 homers..and 69 RBI's.. about as minimalist as it gets..
