2021 Spring Training Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How much does the Chisox loss of Jimenez effect how folks feel about them vs the Tribe?

I feel like the White Soxs are the team to beat in the American League, it does sway things in the Indians favor without having Jimenez, but I am not sure it would sway the needle enough to beat them on paper. I just don't feel they have a hole or legit weakness on paper like the other two central division contenders (Indians have their bats, Twins depth at SP etc)

The White Sox have some big time power bats, and its gonna be interesting in how they utilize them over the next several years.

Abreu, Collins, Jimenez, and Vaughn are all 1B/DH types. No way can they all play at once.

If you can hit, they will find somewhere to play you. That's just how they do things nowadays.

My hope is that the White Sox regular lineup has four DHs in it for the next several years...lol.

Picture Bobby Bradley, Jim Thome, Andre Thornton, and Pronk all playing at the same time.

Bradley or Thornton in 1B/LF, Thome at 3B/1B and Pronk between 1B/DH.

I mean it could be possible!

I still have a vintage MLB “Dopebook” with Rico on the cover the year following his NL batting title.
