Baseball truly is a marathon. In basketball, I try to be patient and judge team and individual performance in 8-12 games pods

In baseball, 16-24 game pods. Of course there is always blurring and shorter term trends that can be positive or negative indicators for the entire year but it still is truly not a sport in which to judge players in totality on an individual at bat, individual game, or even single series/week.
