Kinda funny how probably the last guy standing off the championship team will be the one the fans hate the most :chuckle:
"live long enough... yata yata... become the villain. "

To be fair.. he yata yata'd his way out of Minny. The kid deserves no respect. I want to see him play 48 mins a game until he quits.

May we please get vote suggestions on a new Thread Title?

Of course he is. The guy has lost all respect from anyone with a thinking mind. He knew what he was signing on for when he re-upped here. Seeing as this is how he's acting, and still cashing his checks, he's essentially found a way to legalize bank robbery. It would be nice if Dan could cut bait with no repercussions.

I say this as I watch Myles Garrett walk onto the stage to announce our third pickin the Draft. He may have tried to kill a horrible QB, but the kid is what Cleveland is about. Which is not quitting and working hard. Kevin is a quitter. He's an embarrassment to himself and the franchise. Something tells me that calf is gonna flare up and never be the same again.

Good bye, Kevin. Thanks for being an inconsistent third option on a championship team.
Kevin isn’t doing much this year or since LBJ left but to call him an “inconsistent third option” on a championship team is just plain stupid! No K Love on that team and we are still looking for our first sports title in over 50 plus years. Anybody that doesn’t see his importance and impact on that team doesn’t know basketball.

Last night not only did Love not make any shot attempts, I'm pretty sure he didn't even look at the basket all game. Every time the ball came to him he made quick passes around the perimeter. As a whole our offense sucked donkey dicks most of the night, like the whole team is lost on that end of the court.

TBH, once the score got out of hand I watched the remainder of the game on fast forward so I might have missed something, but probably not.

If you watched the game you'd have seen how he rolled out the red carpet for anyone driving the lane.

I thought he was pretty engaged tonight. But let's face it the guy isn't going to be busting ass on defense and taking charges in a random game in May when even the fans are hoping for losses.

His defensive effort consists of either slapping his hands together or pounding on a stationary
object on the multiple occaisons he is nowhere in the area as his man scores.

He and Cedi are giving the bare minimum on defense. Even if they're in position, they get moved out of the way so very easily by literally anyone driving that it doesn't matter.

It's rough to watch.

Tidbit from Fedor:

From an individual standpoint, Kevin Love -- one night after failing to take a shot and not feeling like he had his legs -- poured in a season-high 25 points on 9-of-14 from the field. His best scoring night of the season -- and most productive game in over a year -- was sparked by a pregame conversation with Bickerstaff, who asked the five-time All-Star what he needed to be more effective. Love suggested a few sets that usually help and different ways to manufacture cleaner looks.

That's great that he scored 25 last night,,he can still score its the defense that is the major problem at this point.
He doesn't have the agility or movement skills to rotate at all anymore.
Any team can attack the cavs when Love is on the court just by moving the ball.
Eventually the man Love is supposed to rotate to will be wide open.
And I've seen other guys try to cover and rotate out to his man and that just creates more confusion
and easier buckets for the opposition.

The Cavs were sorta approaching middle of the road defense in the league. Like 17th or 18th in defensive rating.

It started to dive basically the moment Love came back, which is no surprise.

He still really does help the spacing but it's just not worth his paycheck. Not even close.

Imagine if we could take his salary this off-season and throw that same money at two players like TJ McConnell and Reggie Bullock...and still have money left over.

Boy wouldn't that be nice....
