Why??? Jim Brown has a statue....Otto Graham has a statue. Are you telling me that LBJ (who is considered the greatest player in Cavalier history.....helped to break a 52 year title drought) does not deserve a statue? I’m not a huge LBJ fan but I have to give the man his due. Hell the Lakers have statues of Magic, Shaq, Baylor (who BTW never win a title), West, and even Chick Hearn in front of Staples. And you don’t think LBJ deserves one??? I’m sorry that’s just plain stupid.

I'm over statues, put up something useful like a homeless shelter in his honor or something.

They’ll give him a statue without a doubt. When the best basketball player ever played 11 years for you you’ll want him associated with your team for the rest of history. Even more so with all the good off the court stuff he’s done and will continue to do once he retires.

One of the worst franchises in the NBA with Jerry & Jerry gone and the current regime utterly clueless. LeBron & AD were able to animate that corpse but when they’re done it will go back to being a wasteland.

If I had the skills I’d send out a fake Dan Gilbert tweet saying that the Cavaliers never let LeBron down with a team that couldn’t get past the first round.

And what are you referring to? I’m saying people are still hanging onto their hate for LBJ leaving but that’s got nothing to do with acknowledging what he did for this team and city. Stop twisting conversations and putting your own spin on it!
