Erg.. sorry. Not your fault. Just tired of the last dozen pages of this thread. I come here to catch-up on things because I love Cleveland (and it's teams) and would move back if I could. After traveling through the empty headedness of most folks here in CA during the last presidency I'm simply tired of hearing of people's never ending saga of 'I know better' and honestly expected more 'until proven guilty' and level headedness from the people of my hometown.

Well, the assumptions here are pretty extreme.

What did or did not happen with the Bauer situation aside--needing to label people as "deviant" based off what happens between two consenting adults is something I'm going to have a problem with. You don't get to define normal and judge people who fall outside of your narrow, personal definition. I'd go so far as to say "normal" is just doing what makes you happy. You like missionary? Cool. Engaging in it is normal. You like being cucked? Cool. Engaging in it is normal. As long as you're in a consenting situation with another adult, that's going to fall within "normal" for me. Enjoying what you and your partner(s) enjoy is a "usual or accepted standard."

But yeah, you're right. I see your point. I totally said that I'm good with people being attacked on the street. It's the same exact situation as we're discussing here. How callous of me.

I can't wait to break into your bedroom and stop you and your wife from having sex. If I don't take a stand against that, I'm clearly okay with someone being raped in the middle of the street.

I have neither the time nor patience to moderate a discussion that has quickly moved beyond just Trevor Bauer, and is now just people riffing generally on sexual violence, burdens of proof, the oppression of women, etc. etc.. Everyone could see the thread going off track, yet kept gleefully shoveling coal into the engine to power their particular soapbox. I'm going to lock this for a day or so until most folks have read it, then I'll unlock it to discuss baseball again.

I'll also delete the last 5 or so pages to clean it all up.
