I did not realize until recently that Shane Baz, regarded as a Top 100 prospect in baseball and Top 3 in the Rays organization, was also included in the Chris Archer Rays-Pirates trade.

there's a reason Neal Huntington is the ex-gm of the pirates - (and we're not even mentioning the gerrit cole trade)
 

If this was a different era then I would worry, but in the modern one, where SOs are acceptable, it's not really that big of deal. Pitchers go after the SOs way more than they used to plus the hitters arent in trouble if they get a SO.
