I’m a Windler fan - I hope he can stay healthy. His passing and rebounding is great. Love his shot in college - he will definitely excel here.

We are all waiting for that Doug McDermott/Joe Harris moment where he is healthy enough for minutes and the game slows down for him. The minutes behind Okoro are wide open for him.

I'm not worried about the game slowing down for him. I'm worried he's more brittle than the glass pipe I've been using for the last 10 years.

In summer league he was just hoisting. That's what I want to see. He can work on driving and everything else after he establishes his shot. He needs to just launch from wherever

Totally legit concern... that's why I didn't complain when Joe Harris was traded. Eventually, the always hurt dude needs to get on the floor and get comfortable, and the Cavs can't wait forever.

But as soon as the late bloomer finally puts it together, they can get expensive and the Hindsight Warriors are ready to get the front office fired.

I dunno. The guy does some other things well, and if he's just hoisting, his confidence may nosedive if he's not hitting. Playing a good game all around is the kind of thing that makes a guy relax because he knows he's contributing even if his shot isn't falling. Just takes some of the pressure off.

Yeah I get that. I thought he got hurt because they were playing him at backup PF and he was driving against big men etc. I think if he focuses on his strengths, he will be more open cutting to the basket later.

There is still a chance Windler's injuried have been a fluke. Sure, those injuries could mean long term percussions either way, but we still have this season to watch for before we make any final conclusions. This is a do or die season for the Gingemaster.
