Its still a good move by Rich Paul, normally he wouldnt see a dime yet, it was just a better move by Philly front office.
I've said it from the beginning that he's going to look like a fool before this all over. You think teams are going to want to deal with the headache of signing a player to max deal and then refusing to show up the next season? It might be a player's league, but billionaires cut the paychecks.

Its like a list of who's not who of former Cavs.

Telfair
Miles
Moon
Brown

Apparently Osman is just lucky he isnt a former NBA player yet or he would have been charged too.
Milt Palciao too right? They could field a starting 5.

I think both Philly and Ben look like a fool.

Philly should of traded him months ago. They over asked and his value goes down every week now.

Ben looks like an idiot for not showing up.

I'm fine with Philly asking for the moon. You've got 4 more years on the contract you signed. Quit being a bitch and demanding out.

Do you think Jamario would be any part of this trade? Wasnt he just charged with a felony?

I was wondering how this would go. I thought he would get his 8M. What do they do if he is traded? Who pays the 8M? They can't sue for breach of contract because he is also supposed to show up.

Wild stalemate.

The money is in escrow, and that's what they're deducting from for each missed game. If he's traded, then whatever is left in the escrow account represents games he hasn't yet missed.

My guess is that the Sixers would have to pay him whatever remains in that account upon him being traded because non-performance is no longer their problem.

Well Klutch did manage to have his contract set up where he has already received 2 checks that I believe equate to half his season salary before the season even started. So they can do that all they like and he still aint gonna suit up for them again imo.

He got one check back in July. This check was supposed to be the second one, but he's not getting it. I'd be curious to know if they have the right to go after the him for the amount paid in the first check once this second check is exhausted by fines. I'd imagine so because they are actually fines he is contractually obligated to pay.

Philly Inquirer reporter Keith Pompey floating Brogdan & Levert & a pick for Simmons. He reported sources confirmed interest in a Pacers deal and a source saying the team is interested in Levert; Brogdan appears to be Pompey's idea.

This is pretty good on its face. Brogdan is hurt too much is the biggest holdup. I bet they take this if he had better injury history. 2 fringe allstars and a pick is about as good as Philly will get.

I wonder if there is a way to get Lamb or Justin Holiday from this deal.
