I don't think the Pacers will give up both of those guys and a pick, but I could be wrong.

This is pretty good on its face. Brogdan is hurt too much is the biggest holdup. I bet they take this if he had better injury history. 2 fringe allstars and a pick is about as good as Philly will get.

I wonder if there is a way to get Lamb or Justin Holiday from this deal.
That was Pompey's comment as well - as good as Philly will get, not convinced they can get that much for this trainwreck.

Ya know if Kyrie didn't make it so public I'm positive the Nets would ahve been willing to pay off the team doctor and whoever else they needed to to just say he was vaxxed.

But you can't do it when he makes it well known.

I'll be interested to see how it goes from here.

People very rarely actually take a stand for something they believe in. Not when it actually costs them something to do it.

I wonder if Dec 15th even changes things. I sort of don't think so.

Really scummy stuff from some of the most bummy underachieving players in the league. Went over the full list, and most were known to be knuckleheads/players who never reached full potential. Sebastian Telfair, Big Baby, etc.

Lebron played his ass off as long as he was under contract....

Didn't look like that to me in 2010. His interest seemed to fluctuate from game to game -- sometimes even within games.

I don't want to rehash all of that -- just think that the "he always gave it his all" narrative isn't all that clear when it comes to that season.

If you don’t think he forced his way out of Cleveland, you weren’t watching.

I'm not sure if this is referring to 2010 or 2018, but I completely disagree with both.

Something was definitely up in that Celtics series in 2010, particularly game 2 and game 5, but I had season tickets that year, and LeBron worked his ass off all throughout the whole season. He was the MVP of the league for crying out loud.

I think it actually started in the Orlando series when he shot that FT left-handed.

In any case, I'd agree about his effort during the regular season. But doing what he did in the playoffs reminds me a bit of "Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"

Didn't he sign series of 1 and 1's back then holding us hostage and then he signed for more years with MIA to give them a chance to build around them?

Since I started this nonsense with LeBron...

I do think he quit at the end of the Celtics series in 2010. Whether that was due to a certain ride West or not is unclear, but either way I remember watching the end of that series in high school and being amazed that a guy could mail in a game that hard and still drop a 30 point triple double like it was nothing.

How he differs from players like Ben Simmons, PG, AD, or what we are hearing from Zion... he never left when he still had contractual years obligated with his team and never demand that they trade him to a specific team. He played out the years on his deal, tried hard with the exception of 2010, and didn't pull any of this sitting out bullshit. He clearly cares more about his reputation and has a better sense of honor than these other goons.

Look at that.

Don't worry, by the beginning of the season they'll suddenly determine some other new things that allows him to play, too.

The new Mayor takes office January 1 and will be the Democrat from Brooklyn. It would not surprise me at all if he decides to do something that directly or indirectly allows Kyrie to play.
