#attackedMaybe. Or maybe you just have not played 14 years of basketball while weighing over 250 lbs..

Wouldn’t have predicted it, but he’s been fun to watch this season.
There should be an all-time Cleveland athletes WAGs section along with player ratings. Jeff Garcia for example would definitely be up there. We could add front office /coaches as well (I.e. Mark Shapiro).I have said the Love hate wasnt fair.
He gets down on himself because he is hurt, he shouldnt give any money up, its his money. He is still aging in dog years, but he tries, he wants to play, he has worked hard to come back, he is probably playing better right now than he will in 30 games, and he does need load management.
But i can never hate the guy, he has stuck around, helped us win a championship and has not complained one bit publicly.
PS, he also always helps the view in the WAGs section.

Love was a huge disappointment last season and his first season on the contract. He was far worse than I expected. Some people see the dollar figure and can't see past it, expecting franchise player stats and gravity on the court.
Seeing that Ben is the most plugged in guy on the site, his disgust with Love definitely accelerated the Love hate.
I don't see his performance this year as the surprise - just as I thought his 2019 season before COVID was a reasonable return. Is he a franchise player? No, and he hasn't been one as a Cavalier at any point. He is a strong off ball player who needs the ball moving to have any positive offensive effect. Once Rubio joined and the young players began to share the ball, Love's strengths have become amplified.
I think he helps our development for this season and into next season; then we either trade him or buy him out next season. If he's playing like he is now there are teams that could use him for a playoff push. Might happen this year but doubtful with that big amount due next year ($29 mil).I love how they using him, 15 to 20 min off the bench and that should be it, don‘t change even if a front court player get hurt. Even sit him on some back to backs…….Funny part if he was on a top contending team, they would be using him the same way…….

That logic goes double for Sexton. If he's really not suited to start and has to be a sixth man because that destiny is carved in granite then why not be that guy for us? Instead we have so many people who can't wait to ship him out.Let's see how this thing plays out. As of today, Allen and Mobley are so incredible defensively that Love's main weakness - defensive mobility - more or less gets covered. This is the type of situation where he can be his best self...and we might be that playoff team that can use him.

Exactly!! Who on this board would have said “No Mr Gilbert…..that’s too much money. I can’t accept that contract”The only good thing about Love’s salary is that it helps us avoid even longer money on a bad deal while we wait to see which young guys can play.
Love and Cedi are our last links to the championship teams. Miss those days and very grateful to both (moreso Kevin) for their contributions to the best era of Cavalier basketball ever. I don’t blame Love’s contract on him. Gilbert is to blame for this. We can’t be mad at Kevin for it. Everyone knew he likely wouldn’t age well with his back.
At least he has accepted his bench role for now. I’m sure it’s tough to be on this team at his stage of his career but he has 60 million reasons to tough it out. I believe we only have 18 more months of Kevin. And that assumes no buyout. He really isn’t hampering the team anymore with his new role.
So we thank him for the championship (the Stop) and just wait it out. Dan’s fault not Kevin’s. Remember that.
