Rubio comes in, settles them down and wards off a comeback. JBB subs Sexton back in for him 2 mins later, our offense stagnates and the Hornets regain life. It's like he's trying to lose the game.

I don’t think Bickerstaff made a smart decision to give them the easy 2 there. Our FT shooting has been horrid. Our best FT shooters are Garland and Sexton and I don’t trust either to get open or to hit both FTs.

should have just defended for the stop. I don’t trust our inbounding or our FT shooting

This is what I was saying all of last year about these misleading 3 point shooting percentages.

Neither Sexton nor Garland can nor will regularly take "tough" 3s.

IF they aren't wide open, they won't shoot them.

So those nice 40% 3 point shooting numbers? Not as good as they look when compared to guys who can pull up from anywhere, anytime and will never, ever pass up on an open 3.

Markennen is largely the same way.
