Cavaliers now 4-4, same as the Browns. Who has the better chance at making the playoffs?
 
After a frustrating Sunday I am glad they got the win. Just with they didn't give me all the anxiety to get it done. :chuckle:
 
With Garland it will always be the 3's. 2 more and it was iced.

Won the final game of the trip, 5th game in 8 nights, after a cross country flight from the west coast to CHA, with Love and Okoro out, and the Hornets hitting some absurd NBA JAM On Fire 3P shots at the end.

All three lead guards have to be better late in the game but a road win is a road win and the team did a lot of good things tonight and enough to win.

Allen was just a monster.

Mobley does so much. Offensive shot is still very raw but his ceiling is IMMMENSE

So this is the thing that this team needs more than any other thing and why I want to see them just force Windler into games.


EVERY team has this ability except this one. I swear to god they all do. It's just how the NBA is now. You have to have this ability to just get hot and make tons of 3s.

It's the primary issue with the roster and was the primary issue last year.

We're told Garland SHOULD be that guy but we haven't seen anything close to that.

We have to find a player who can do that.
 
idk why bash these young players. It’s still early in the season and we not even half way through. They’re 4-4. They’ve added new pieces and still trying to play with each other. The shots will start to fall.

DG/Sexton shoot the open three. It’s open. Shoot the ball. Shoot. Shoot. Shoot.

I’m happy the Cavs pulled it out. LETS GOOO!

I missed Love.

Windler need MINUTES. He showed something against the Suns. He can PLAY.
 
If you get up on Sexton, you totally eliminate his jumper and that’s a massive concern for a scoring guard in this day and age. If you can’t use the bounce and step back to free up space for a shot you become so much easier to defend.

Great W and I don’t want to be negative after it, but the close to this game was a great argument for why Sexton won’t be here long term.
 
Every time we thought we had a lead, they just kept fighting back. Props to the Charlotte team to be honest, though I kind of hate them. Could be an interesting long term EC rivalry if we can get a better coach and change up some of our players so we have actual shooters.

Cedi with a great game, Allen as well. But overall I didn't like what I saw from the team in the 4th. Sexton and Garland are trying to prove that neither of them should be starting at this point. Lets hope it's just the wear and tear of the roadtrip but they need to get their acts together. And we need a GM who can consistently try to improve the team.
 
Evan Mobley played 40 minutes in the 8th game of the season.
