...Am I crazy for kinda thinking the most realistic and appealing option for the Cavs would be Marcus Smart if we target the Celtics?

I was thinking about him a little.

Love the grittiness and heart he plays with.

Don't love the way he doesn't understand his limitations sometimes on offense.

I guess my thought is, if they get him and use him the way we intend to use Okoro, I don't really care much what he does on the offensive end. I know he's a chucker at the best of times, but in reality maybe the Cavs need a dude to just chuck it sometimes. It'd be nice for it to rub off on some other players.

All I know is a defense spearheaded by Smart and backed up by Allen and Mobley is Utah levels of dominating.

Wondering what his value is.

He's kinda overpaid for what he does at his size imo.

But I don't know if that's the anyone else's opinion.

It's tough because I think the Celtics, especially his former coach in Stevens, is going to overvalue him because he's the leader of the team. If I had to guess, probably one of Sexland + a FRP. Maybe Okoro as well?

I wanna watch Cade tonight.

Detroit's draft selection over the last two decades has been the worst I can remember in the NBA. Absolutely gut wrenching franchise defining bad picks. Perhaps they picked this one time right? odds say that they didn't.

Pelicans have two national TV games this week. I'm sorry but the NBA should be able to opt out of that shit if a player like Zion can't go.

Ingram is a fun player to watch. I personally think Ingram is the best player on the Pelicans. Zion is the most exciting but Ingram is just a better player all around.

Imagine Wade or Melo added to that Championship team. Instead they got Darko.

I mean since they took a big. It could be as simple as why not Bosh instead of Darko? They passed on 3 Hall of Famers for Darko.

This has been rehashed to death, but Darko looked like the second coming of Saba at the time. I am convinced Detroit made the correct move by fucking up that pick. They dont trade for Sheed if they have a productive Melo, Bosh or Wade.
