This has been a long standing problem, but I've never bothered to care. A quick google search leads me to believe it's a pretty common Xenforo problem.

I don't know the rhyme or reason, but most of the time, I am unable to view attachments posted in threads. I'll get returned with an error of Ooops, you don't have permission. Not every attachment gives me the message, but it seems to be the majority of them. Others have mentioned similar issues in the Evan Mobley thread.

I wouldnt worry, its an auto filter on here to save you from viewing dick pics....well unless you want to see the pics.

Can you link the issue in the Evan Mobley thread and I can take a look? Is this for attachments posted in the "body" of posts, or as "quoted posts"?

This post in particular. Had a few likes on my post so guessing I'm not alone. There have been plenty of others. I get an error that I don't have permission to view it or to perform this action.

@Simmy if it's any help. I've found a bunch of threads on Xenforo help forums on this same problem. It seems to either be a permission setting or an add-on interfering with the permissions.

The option to attach files isn't appearing in the Cavs Talk section for me.

Could you shoot me through some links? I'll take a look and run it by Ben. Sounds like there's something conflicting in the back-end that's the cause. Thanks!

Just in Cavs Talk? Or across all sub-forums/threads? Are all other icons/options available to you? Just not "attach"?

Yes, just in Cavs Talk. Everything else is available like posting gifs through the media option, just not the attach files
