In fairness we always function better with Ricky on the floor. But you’re correct. He should not be starting. He should get more minutes with Mobley and Garland more with Allen, in my opinion.
 
Now , I have to hope League Pass allows us living in NYC to get the Cavs postgame show soon

I love some Spanish Mamba! What Rubio did tonight was outstanding. Felt like a playoff game tonight. He played in control, composed throughout, he was making everything. 8-9 from downtown including 8 in a row. Loved his passes to Mobley and Allen underneath as well. I knew when Koby got Rubio, it was going to be so great for this team. 10 assists but having a career night in 37 points was unexpected.

Mobley was awesome tonight - love how he continues to shoot 3s and he made 2 big ones when needed. His offense and defense was phenomenal- cannot believe he’s just a rookie.

And please extend Rubio.
 
I don't know what we do with Rubio at the deadline.

I understand tonight is a gigantic outlier.

Before thath e was still playing like a guy who could immediately go and start for teams w/ bigger aspirations.

So my brain tells me you trade him at the deadline.

Who you like? I kinda want a bigger SG. I want Kevin Huerter. I really think he’s the odd wing out and I think he’d fit right on in. Keep Lauri at the 3. Draft a SF.
 
If Sexton misses any considerable time with that knee, I'd really like to know when Okoro is coming back and see how the starting unit looks with him in it.

If not Okoro, I want to see Windler there purely as a catch and shoot guy. I like what he gives you on the glass too.

Your brain is wrong sometimes.

Rubio might be the difference of definitely making the playoffs vs not making the playoffs or barely sneaking in.
