Shit I would be feel a little better if lauri and love comes back. I feel every player is going down.

If you go through the schedule for the next few weeks, it was going to be very very brutal anyways. While you dont want your Rookie not learning from playing the highest competition, from a team aspect, those games were going to very hard to win anyways. The impact on our W/L record will likely be minimal as long as we can keep it closer to 2 than 4 weeks.

At this rate we might be starting Tacko and Ed Davis tomorrow night,,,man things were going so well.

Just hurts cause the foundation was being laid down the right way….

My hope is that it’s just a one off and his body holds up going forward… I do not want this guy to be constantly injured… Not saying he will be I just hope he’s not one of those bigs who suffer continuous injuries…

Check the next 11 games. Absolutely crazy

This coach may be a detriment to our players health wise. I'm sorry for repeating this, but he needs to tone the minutes down and not put his players at a physical disadvantage. You better concede a game or play unplayable scrubs or whatever, but don't ever put the franchise most prized rookie since Lebron at risk.

It was a collision contact injury that could have happened with the exact same result whether it was 30 seconds into the game or with 30 seconds remaining. It would have happened the same to a reserve playing 8 minutes per game or someone playing 38.

Long term, I understand your concerns about fatigue and how that makes the body more susceptible to injuries. Those are fair and valid concerns, but this was not the type of injury that has anything at all to do with that.

We are absolutely fucked for these next 11 games lol. You gotta figure the Cavs will play it safe and keep him out closer to 4 weeks. We could very well be like 7-8 games under .500 by that point, looking at our schedule.

We're going to reach a whole new level of suck that we're gonna make the Rockets blush.

I don't care how it happened. It's been two years that we have been ravaged by injuries. His substitution patterns are nonsensical. He plays players for16 minutes straight.

Evan is a competitor and he will give his all every damn second. You play him for long durations and you task him at guarding Kanter and Horford who are bigger and stronger than him? Not to mention that they are both prone to some dirty shenanigans. He was not ready to play the 5 for a full game. I don't care if JBB is fighting for his coaching career or if he wants to reach the playoffs at all costs... I dont care and neither should the franchise care. What they should care about is Evans health and putting him in the best position to succeed and progress. This ain't it.

So we could have extended a qualifying offer? Sucks he was too good to be our backup.

It looks like it. We were fighting over 500k or so for him. He is getting more time for LA than he would here until now, about 16 mins a game. Played in all but 1 game, After the Markadden trade, he kind of knew he wouldnt get much time here so he bounced.

At least this team has defense to fall back on, which might be enough to win them a few games.

The Rockets do literally nothing well.
