Cool.I don't care how it happened. It's been two years that we have been ravaged by injuries. His substitution patterns are nonsensical. He plays players fir 16 minutes straight.
Evan is a competitor and he will give his all every damn second. You play him for long durations and you task him at guarding Kanter and Horford who are bigger and stronger than him? Not yo mention that they are both are prone to some dirty shenanigans. He was not ready to play the 5 for a full game. I don't care if JBB is fighting for his coaching career or if he wants to reach the playoffs at all costs... I font care and neither should the franchise care. What they should care about is Evans health and putting him in the best position to succeed and progress. This ain't it.
We were going to run through Brooklyn and Golden State like they were AAU teams. I now have an excuse and I’m sticking to that story. If you go through the schedule for the next few weeks, it was going to be very very brutal anyways. While you dont want your Rookie not learning from playing the highest competition, from a team aspect, those games were going to very hard to win anyways. The impact on our W/L record will likely be minimal as long as we can keep it closer to 2 than 4 weeks.
This team has the defense of Evan Mobley to fall back on, a month from now. Without him, our defense is trash, as evidence by the 4th quarter last night. At least this team has defense to fall back on, which might be enough to win them a few games.
The Rockets do literally nothing well.
To be fair, that happened because for some reason JBB thought playing Wade at center was a good idea. It turned into a layup line and largely cost us the win. This team has the defense of Evan Mobley to fall back on, a month from now. That's what happens when you have no bigs. It was a mistake to think we'd be okay with just Allen and Mobley to play the 5.To be fair, that happened because for some reason JBB thought playing Wade at center was a good idea. It turned into a layup line and largely cost us the win.
