I’m proud of the squad. They fought hard against the nets and warriors this team are fighter don’t matter who’s on the court except for Okoro. Anyways thank god we don’t play till Monday hopefully we get Allen back lauri cedi and beat them ducking nets. I don’t know how many teams would actually fight this way with half their top players gone. Not too many I mean Stephenie had to score 20 in the 4th qtr just to beat who? Ed Davis valentine dean fucking wade Lmaoo love this Cavs team and the future is freaking bright

After watching this video, what the fuck is Okoro supposed to do? Curry is virtually unbeatable here and we're undermanned as fuck with a scheme that is equivalent to throwing shit at the wall. People asking for Windler or Valentine to cover this guy? Really?

No one can contain this guy. I am not mad at Okoro for struggling to defend the most floor warping player in NBA history. Some of you guys need to chill and look at the situation.

Is not that he couldn’t defend curry is that he can’t do anything in the offensive end as well . Gets blocked can’t dribble can’t shoot a mid range can’t shoot 3 can’t hit ft he flat out sux

The idea of running him 40+ minutes as a defensive stopper only works if he can stop them. Running him 40 minutes against the best shooter in the world while Steph made him look stupid possession after possession is disheartening, and isn't helping the team or him. If he's not adding anything to the offensive side, and isn't containing, then he's just taking up space on the court.

Today’s “soft don’t touch people” NBA rules make it so he can’t be contained. Zeke, The Pistol, Tiny etc would average close to 35 in today’s NBA. Plus Curry glides to the basket with no fear because he knows there’s no hard foul coming! I’m not discounting Curry AT ALL! But he can pretty much do and go where he wants in today’s league!

Watch the video. It talks about why steph is arguably the best offensive player ever. All thr guys you listed were great scorers, but didn't have to triple team them away from the ball. I dont want to distract more in the Cavs season thread, but I think there is some really interesting dynamics about what steph means for a defense we can discuss in the 2021 NBA thread

That was insane. Even when he never touched the ball the Cavs were so focused on him that his teammates got easy layups.

He turned Okoro inside out every time down the floor. Talk about being schooled. I get that Curry is unstoppable but that was too easy.

At the 3:21 mark Rubio blows a layup and three Cavs just stand there and watch while the W's run the break. They end up with a 3-on-2 and an easy layup by the guy who got the rebound! Pathetic effort by the Cavs. Rubio's momentum carried him under the glass but the others should have made more of an effort. The Cavs were only down four points but they were already beaten. They could see Curry wasn't going to let the W's lose.
