Curry could've done that to any defender esp with all the illegal screens. With that said the Cavs needed Okoro to do something/anything on the offensive end to make Curry work on that end too. Honestly they did not put Okoro in any position to succeed.

I'm a little dubious if last night was any type of positive in Okoro's development or if it likely ends up hurting his confidence even more.

Not to take anything away from Curry's greatness. Maybe a little, he's still the GOAT shooter and up there for GOAT offensive player.

But offensive holding is such bullshit in the NBA. Not screens or moving screens or illegal screens but holding. And GS is really good at getting away with them.

I would love to see some flopping on them. The more ridiculous, unnatural and flamboyant flop, the better. Grab onto the screener and lift them in the air. push the screener over. Grow out your fingernails and draw blood. Just draw attention to it. You have to imagine teams are complaining to the league about it and the league doesn't care because it's "better" for offenses and better for superstars.

Just look at the "foul" LeBron "drew" on JA. It's a joke and the refs need to be embarrassed.

Curry is playing the game at about two levels above where everybody else is at. It's nothing to worry about as long as he's in the Western Conference and we play him twice a year.

If Okoro can watch the tape and learn from his mistakes then at least something positive could come out of it.

Now can we get an graphic designer illustrator to bring these to life?

The league is conspiring against us. Durant, Curry, Draymond all out today. A game after their teams played us. Shameful collusion by the NBA.

There was one really egregious one where Curry basically held Okoro on a screen then back cut him for easy points at the basket. That game taught me that Curry and Draymond are immune to fouls when their offense has so much movement that distracts the refs. (being optimistic that they are just missing these calls)

Golden State is up by 10 on Detroit even without Curry and Green. It makes sense to rest their best players, both over 30, on the second night of a back-to-back against a bad team.

No one can contain this guy. I am not mad at Okoro for struggling to defend the most floor warping player in NBA history. Some of you guys need to chill and look at the situation.
I cause Kyrie is no one.

Sexton out for the year T_T
Oh yikes.

For a team struggling to score lately, losing the guy who's the best on the team at creating his own shot is a massive loss.

I know not everyone here likes Sexton's style of game, but the Cavs haven't hit 100 since he got hurt. The only teams averaging below 100 are the Thunder and Pistons, so I don't see the Cavaliers sustaining a very competitive record from here on out, sad to say.

Welp then. Looks like I hit the third trimester of pregnancy at the right time. I got to see the best part of the season, and can blissfully ignore the rest while I tend to the little one.

With Sexton out for the season... The Cavs is a Mobley being out longer than initial diagnosis from a lottery team again... If that happens I expect them to flip Rubio at trade deadline (he probably want to be on a contending team even if likes Cleveland at this stage of his career)

No just a bitter Steve Kerr.

I feel another solid 10 game losing streak in my bones.

As a bit of a silver lining to losing Sexton, this means we no longer have the security blanket of Sexton creating a 40% shot when there is nothing else. This is going to force shot redistribution to other players. I feel that Garland has deferred to him quite a bit over the last two years and Okoro as well. This is going to force both of them and our other young guys to really have to take more initative.

I also think this drops our ceiling a bit from a solid playoff team (6-8 seed) to a play-in team (8-10 seed) which is good for the tankathon heads.
