The best thing about this team is that despite the way they have been winning, it's not like there's been a clear "hero". Garland and Allen have been demolishing, Mobley has been impactful, Markkanen playing on the wing has been working. Rubio has been stabilizing. Love has been GREAT in the second unit.

Where... in the last almost 20 years before this, it's been basically going as LeBron (or Kyrie) goes. I forgot what this was like.
Yes, it’s all coming together this year for the Cavs. We may very well be the Suns of last year. There isn’t anyone in the East we can’t beat when we’re healthy & playing like this. We’re steamrolling teams lately without Cedi and with Mobley not playing all that great.

Hope the city stops sucking off the Browns and starts filling up the arena.

My feelings about just how good of a sports town this is has faded over the years.

Prove me wrong.

Yeah, that 5 game losing streak seems like a distant, distant hazy memory.
And when you think of the teams we played, and who we had missing, and how close we came in those games - we hung with the very best teams in the league missing at least 2 season opening starters in each game. In a couple of the games, Garland was the only season opening starter that played.

Back on 11/5, after beating the Raptors and moving to 6-4, I bet on the Cavs making the playoffs. FanDuel had the odds at +980, so you get almost ten times what you put in. I bet $50, so I would win $500 and maybe go to a guilt-free playoff game lol (pandemic variables aside).

Now odds are +440, so you get almost 4.5 times what you bet. Still a good deal IMO. I think only injuries could stop this team from at LEAST being a play in team.
Our playoff odds as of yesterday (12/2) morning were +440. After destroying the Wizards, only +270. Which I think is still a good deal.

Not as great as the +980 on 11/5 at 6-4

Preseason they were +1800 to make the playoffs.

The disrespect from Bradley Beal postgame:

“I think a lot our wins earlier in the year were kind of, we know we can't win like that against good teams,” Beal said. “We have these crappy teams who, granted they have good size and they play to their advantage, we can't just flip on that light switch. I think that was another situation like that tonight.”

Fuck him (though I would still take him on this team as he is exactly what this team needs to go from good to great - not sure what it would take to get him).

The wizards are -0.2 per game on season despite being 14-9, its possible they are a crappy team that has fluked some close wins !

He sounds very butthurt. Lol the wizards got thrown out of the gym tonight and barely beat us the first time around lol

The Wizards were an abortion of a roster last year and actually got worse. Fuck him. The book is out on them & they're not that good.

Beal saying that is pretty funny. Gave the Cavs free locker room material for the next game they play. Maybe they can push the lead to 50+ next time.
The cool thing is, the Cavs don't even need bulletin board material.

They just show up, respect the game, respect the competition, and play hard every single game.

Something Beal just admitted he and his Wizards teammates do not.

Hard pass. He is at the point in his career where being an undersized SG is starting to show up in his stats as he gets older (like McCollum) and the contract he will want is going to nuke that team's salary cap for the foreseeable future.
