no thanks on Fournier. Cavs are fine, don't need him.

Josh Hart for the end of our bench (Windler/Wade/Valentine/Pangos/Davis) and the Houston 2nd round pick would be a good deal if you can get it done. Probably can't. But I could imagine the Pels talking themselves into Windler/Wade and the pick for Hart if we had a 5 game Windler 3 point blitz again.
Again, may not be possible, but JBBis running 8 in November/December. Going to be hard to sustain all year, but the bottom 4 or 5 of this team is such colossal garbage he kind of has to. Will help to get Cedi back, and I can hear a case for keeping Wade and Windler around (both have had their moments), but there has to be a better NBA player out there between Wade/Windler and Pangos/Valentine. One you can actually confidently give 10-15 MPG most nights. And really, what you'd like is a player between Cedi and Wade/Windler, which is why I'd like a vet like Hart to fill the G/F spot along w/Cedi off the bench.

PG Garland
SG Okoro
SF Lauri
PF Mobley
C Allen

Bench: Rubio, Love, Cedi, Stevens, _________, Wade, Windler, Davis, Valentine, Pangos.

Anyway, minor "bitch" about the lack of depth on the bench.

Waxing Washington, who was due a good payback game after the loss to them at home we really should have won, was great. This is such a solid squad 1-7 maybe 1-8. I think that group only really needs a little playmaking, but as Mobley develops you will end up having that covered (those passes from our 7' adolescent giraffe were so sweet I contemplated leaving my wife to become a full-time fan boy, but a'las, she's got really good insurance coverage).

The disrespect from Bradley Beal postgame:

“I think a lot our wins earlier in the year were kind of, we know we can't win like that against good teams,” Beal said. “We have these crappy teams who, granted they have good size and they play to their advantage, we can't just flip on that light switch. I think that was another situation like that tonight.”
Make him eat his words. Post this on the wall in the locker room.

I love beating the Wizards. Remember when Lebron was drafted and the Wizards looked like they would be a good rivalry. Then we knocked them outa the playoffs 2 or 3 years. Whiny Wizard fans....oh their tears were so sweet.
Yep, I remember facing those Wizards teams with Arenas, Butler, Jamison, & Haywood. They were good and they pushed us, but they were never good enough to get past the Cavs.

I loved to hate those teams, just like I loved to hate the Pistons during that same era. The ‘07 ECF upset might be one of my favorite playoff series of all time.

Wade is useful, I wouldn't put him in with the others. He's not a starter, but can do enough of everything that he doesn't drag the team down when he comes in. The others at this point are little more than scrubs.
They desperately need a serviceable combo guard who can score. They have 3 guards in Garland, Rubio, and Okoro and the latter is barely serviceable. If Garland ever misses time, and history says it will happen, they just don't have enough offense in the back court. We don't need a star, just someone who can handle the ball and get you 10-12 a night. Without that, we are going to reach a point where we will see Okoro and Valentine see extended minutes at the same time. If that happens you can wave the white flag.

I think the Wizards are more of a rivalry for us than some teams in our own division. For whatever reason, there’s ALWAYS been hate between the Cavs and Wizards.

I would switch out Stevens and Wade as keepers if I had to (even though I'd probably keep both). Wade has already proven 2 years in a row that we can win with him in the lineup for even 30+ minutes. He's not going to win you a lot of games - but he's also not going to cost you any games. Even though his offense has been hit and miss this year, the stretch where he was the primary defender vs Tatum x 2, Durant x 2, Draymond, & Booker (until he got hurt) and did a very good job on each one of them, makes keeping him at his price tag a no-brainer. He can legitimately guard the 3 & 4, can even do a credible job against smaller 5's, and can't be exposed on the P & R. That's exactly what you want in a 8-10 bench player - can hit an open shot, + defender who can defend multiple positions so he can fill in for multiple other players then they are injured, good passer, doesn't turn it over, stays in his lane, excellent teammate, inexpensive.

I think it goes back to the Miracle of Richfield. And Jordan finishing his career there didn't help.

right, I think my main beef is w/Cedi out, the Pangos/Denzel signings (and maybe Davis, though he helped at one point) just look like empty roster spots, and I would like a better bench option after Cedi and more in line with the G/F spot than the F/PF spot.

It's nitpicking for now. But I do it to keep myself grounded after the absolute beat down on Wiz I just saw.

Hard pass. He is at the point in his career where being an undersized SG is starting to show up in his stats as he gets older (like McCollum) and the contract he will want is going to nuke that team's salary cap for the foreseeable future.
100% agreed. I was looking at what some of the Wizards fans were saying postgame, and one of them had this insightful comment about Beal:

“GG, Cavs- but do y’all mind if I vent real quick?

Garland is another guard that I'll add to my list to show that Brad is nothing special. Guards coming into the league every year able to score, handle the ball, shoot the 3. Edwards, Garland, SGA, in addition to Trae, Ja, LaMelo, Luka (already 2x the player that Brad is). Plus Brown, Booker, LaVine and Mitchell are also younger than Brad but have caught up to him and surpassed him. Plus the obvious OG's -Curry, Harden, Butler, etc.

He’s shooting 27%(!!) from 3. He’s top 5 in the league in turnovers in YEAR TEN for fucks sake. He doesn’t defend consistently or take ANY pride in it. His body language is absolutely HORRIFIC when things aren’t going well. He’s the most un clutch player down the stretch I’ve EVER seen in a wizards uniform-just think the opposite of Agent Zero and that’s brad in 4th quarters… and the organization is willing to give him STEPH FUCKING CURRY money!? For what, being loyal?! Give me a fucking break… It will ruin this franchise for another 5 years.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- Brad can put out rumors of him wanting to leave through his friends in the media(Mayo-though calling him a journalist is generous) to make himself look like a saint when he inevitably stays all he wants. He knows and most wizards fans know one thing, he’s not going fucking anywhere. He wants the super max money with no REAL pressure and expectations that come with it on a genuine contender, and guess what? Tommy and the Wizards are 100% going to give it to him.”

The Cavs have a stretch of three really tough games in a row. This is going to be the real acid test. If the Cavs lost all three do to lack of experience, I'm not going to be disheartened at all.
