The initial play he had a lane and it was cut off. He lost his footing and that busted the play. That is one of the last things I'd complain about.
 
Just a bad lineup.

You need one bucket. So then if it's just gonna be the Darius Garland show, which it was, you spread the floor for him.

He went into the lane and immediately stopped in his tracks because there are Gobert.
 
Disappointed with the lineup and play call on that final possession. Garland pretty much was expected to get a handoff attack and score. That was it. Someone else that can shoot has to be coming off a screen there or something.

But can’t be too upset about this game. Hung in there.

Sexton may have actually helped there. At least you’d have two guys who can create their own shot.

There is only so much you can do against a half-court defense with Gobert at the hoop. Just didn't have good spacing.

Dude fuck off, I've been posting here for over a decade. I'm not trolling. The coach is bad at everything to do with competing with elite teams.

He's a great motivator. He is our Mark Jackson. One day we will need a Steve Kerr. I stand by that. That last possession was fucking garbage. Dogshit. Awful. Ugly. Incompetent. Terrible. Pitiful. Disastrous. And worst of all.....entirely, totally, and completely predictable.

He didn't even draw up a single screen to free Garland. Not even 1 screen.

He's fine for now. I dont want him fired. But his ceiling is taking a team to the 2nd round or so. And then losing to a Steve Kerr or a Quinn Snyder. It is what is. The roster isn't a title roster yet so it's fine for now. But again, trash.
 
Enjoyed this game a lot. Clean some things up, get a star-ish wing, another solid veteran, better play calling at the end…..looking good.
